For year 2016 I set some goals for things I’d like to accomplish.
I set 3 goals.
#1. Launch a new website for our photography business.
#2. Launch the Photo Gift Registry app for pro photographers.
#3. Launch Picture Pro.
I feel pretty good about the outcome. I think if I would not have narrowed my focus to these 3 things, I would have never finished.
Because I get distracted.
By other ideas & by other goals.
Some are significant and others are completely aimless.
For 2017 I need to be far more focused.
I’m only setting one professional goal that is equally personal, spiritually and relational.
I’m going to post 1 picture every day to my blog.
I don’t know if I can do it. It will be challenging. It will require discipline.
It also will guide me toward the most valuable center.
Somewhere in the past 12 years I lost my love of photography. It’s almost like manna. I got tired of a good thing. The only way to bring that back was to switch to film and focus on my kids. It started with a $5 camera that Lydia bought at a garage sale – a Pentax K1000.
See you tomorrow…
