I displayed this picture a week ago at a public lecture for the Rocky Mountain School of Photography last week.
When I got to the slide in my presentation. It didn’t really fit the whole theme. I was talking about passion for creating and creative outlets at the moment the slide occurred.
And this old looking photo shot on Lydia’s $5 K1000 camera came up during the presentation.
It made me pause and reflect right there.
It’s because I like basketball. I’ve loved it all the way through, actually. I was my #1 creative outlet growing up. And now that my kids are playing it competitively, I still love it.
Before my grandmother passed away. She gave me a big green book with the full story of my senior season. She captured the memory for me.
That’s why I like taking photos.
And why I made a blog.
Thanks GG.
